Massive ‘Apex Legends’ Hack Disrupts NA Finals, Raises Serious Security Concerns

Oh wow. The invasive programs given total authority to see and control everything on your computer at the most basic level made by companies famous for their terrible security practices can be used to do things with your computer that you might not want? What a total shock and surprise. Nobody could ever have possibly seen this coming.
- The more stuff it can access, the better the anticheat, of course!

A case of black hat hacking resulting in good outcomes for most people? Hate that those people who spent a lot of time and effort in the tournament get fucked, but (on its own, without the collateral damage) exposing the terrifying problems of giving that much access to a single executable is a good thing.
