I want to be very clear, I'm not blocking you because of your political affiliations, but rather because of the way you capitalize words like a knob.
On that you'll have to blame Breaking Points, I just copy the title from them per most communities' recommendations. They've explicitly stated in the past that this is a tactic geared to youtube where their main hosting is and wouldn't do it otherwise (and used to not do it). I don't like it any more than you do but it's a pain to change it for a few specific communities' tastes.
Most Lemmy news/politics comms have been predominantly text. AFAIK none of the lemmyml ones expressly prohibit videos, but some of the downvotes may be due to the fact that many of these posts are videos, and the click-baitiness of the YouTube algorithm may make it worse still.
