yesterday, i hit myself in the forehead with a car door almost knocking myself out, generating serious pain and a giant goose-egg hematoma.

- I gave myself myself a concussion almost the same way, except my clumsy ass was getting into my car and I slammed the side of my head on the roof of my car, everything went black, and then the door that I had already started to swing shut came and slammed into the other side of my head, knocking me back to my senses. I had a dent above my ear for a year lol.

- i stepped on a rake at work, a few minutes later i stepped on the same rake. thankfully only hit me in the chest both times

- Well, I can neither confirm or deny that I'm a nice person but people do sure say nice things about me (just look at almost any comment on this post). But I can confirm that you are a nice person

But yes, it can really sour my day just to have someone comment something halfway mean-- more positivity would be nice.

- What's the difference? To be onest I only realised that it is shower thought and not show your thought a few days ago
  
  Shower thoughts tend to be deep sounding. Some times they're good ideas to ponder, others can fall apart of you think too deeply.
  Like, "Why don't we attach solar panels to cars?" People can go on lots of reasons why it's a good idea, bad idea, etc.
  Where yours, there's no real depth to it. It might as well have been posted on casual conversations or a community post.
Great idea, so simple yet you're the only one who actually thought of this. You rock!

On Reddit I would be sarcastic, cheeky, blunt and arrogant. Only because everyone else is on there.
But here the community is nicer already. Even so, I want this place. to be a better place. So even if someone on lemmy is the above descriptors, I'll always be kind.
