Hey that's so cool!!! I never thought I'd see my list posted around :)
Is it just the name you're wary of or is there something you'd like me to change about it? I'm still working on it when I find new things or stuff changes but I mostly ran out of categories I have knowledge of :(
I think they mean "watch out" as in "keep an eye out for" rather than "be careful of".
On a different note I love that you have Pulsar on there :), I'm one of the team working on it so its always nice to see it mentioned in places.
Some additions to the list you might consider:
Password Managers
Strongbox (Mac/iOS)
Messengers:
SimpleX
Browsers:
Mullvad Browser
Oh that's awesome!
I have had Awesome Windows lists before but hadn't stumbled across one on Codeberg yet. Nice.
https://alternativeto.net The was a discussion about adding something similar to the sidebar, but mods never responded, so this question will keep coming up
You ahould explain a little more what you want . If you wanf foss android app alternitives i would suggest going to fdroid and searching for what you want.
There is also this website which is pretty neat if you're searching for an alternative for a specific software: https://www.opensourcealternative.to/
Privacyguides is not in line with foss. They have a couple of bad recommendstions in this regard
Which ones do you think are bad recommendations?
I think I heard that this website once recommended Opera as a private browser...
Privacytools may have, but not privacy guides. They are community driven and you can contribute easily. Most (if not all) of their categories' criteria require open source

Watch out for "awesome" lists.
