Am I the only person who is insanely turned on by that sentence??? I'm going to make my husband whisper it in my ear tonight 😂

Private insurance only makes money if you don't use it, i.e. as a fucking scam. The only way insurance cares for people is a single-payer public model. Private insurance should be destroyed.

When minor to moderately severe health issues are viewed as externalities to the American Healthcare System that can be ignored, it only leads to worse and more debilitating outcomes for people.

Private insurance doesn't even make sense.

Insurance is essentially a bunch of folks each contributing a small amount of their excess resources to a pool so that nobody gets left behind in case of a disaster. It's an inarguably collectivist idea. Private insurance just means there's some fat business types skimming more than their fair share off the top because they "own the company".

Nevermind the fact that single-payer systems are mathematically more efficient.
