Welcome to today's daily kōrero!

Anyway, it's just a chance to talk about your day, what you have planned, what you have done, etc.

I'm checking out the sync app today, posting from it now. It seems to work.
One thing I notice about apps is that almost none of them have the option to show comments instead of posts (e.g. listing new comments on lemmy.nz). I can easily do that from the website.
- I installed it this morning too and this is my first post using it. I had Relay on reddit so I don't have the familiarity that everyone else is raving about but it seems like a good solid start to a polished app.
  
  I used Relay as well!
  One of the criticisms is that it's an ad supported, closed-source app. Lemmy is open source, and runs on a model that doesn't need ads or related privacy invasion.
  So I feel like apps like Sync probably won't be sustainable in the longer term, because the only selling point is that people used to use it on reddit.

  iOS right? I'm on Android. There are loads of apps, I probably just haven't found the setting.

  Seems pretty decent. Lots of app options now though and they all seem decent.
My turn to post the Daily. Bit of a struggle posting the daily using the IOS apps, wouldn’t let me copy/edit yesterdays daily post so ended up via a browser with no issues.

Hello, I'm pretty new around here (new to both Lemmy & this community) - I'm trying out Jerboa and so far so good.
Any good communities you'd reccomend?
- Apps for Lemmy are being developed at a huge pace at the moment so subbing to the community for your app of choice is a good idea. Other than that, anything you're interested in. There's a Lemmy browser that's a good place to start.

  That Lemmy browser is great for finding communities. In addition, if you want to see what communities people on Lemmy.nz are subscribing to you can click the Communities link at the top of the page (or in the menu on mobile web page, or there will probably be a communities section in your app).
  Here's a link: https://lemmy.nz/communities
  The Local tab will show you the communities we have on Lemmy.nz, and the All feed will show you popular communities across all servers we federaate with (ranked by the number of people on Lemmy.nz that are subscribed to them).
