The worst question from newbies is: "whats the best debian-based distro?"
DEBIAN IS THE BEST DEBIAN-BASED DISTRO. JUST USE DEBIAN

  I love Debian but the website is truly awful. I'm not talking about the minimalist design, I love that. It just feels so confusing to navigate.

Debian is the based Debian distro
Mint's Debian version should be its default honestly
- It's great, but don't use debian testing as a repo xD
just installed it with KDE. Bookworm looks great!
- I tried it as my first foray into Linux but couldn't work out how to get the NVIDIA drivers to work so I installed pop instead 😅
- Trixie is stable too
