I'm old, this isn't new, this is par for the course for Democrats. They lean hard on "but the Republicans are worse!" instead of actually doing shit for their constituents. All they think they have to do is be Not Republican and that's enough.

They are happy to gaslight us about our own lived experience because they can just wonkishly point at The Numbers and ignore the reality on the ground. They have been doing this for thirty years.

Representative democracy is a farce where at best you try to find someone or a group who will maybe align with one or two of your views or at worst because they’re not someone even worse.

Most are probably evangelical morons. They actually think God wants them to defend Israel. I've asked them to show me where in the Bible it says that, but you can probably guess how that went.
