Ill save you a read- it’s because conservatives will vote for a criminal and a traitor to his country just to own the libs.
- When you’ve convinced yourself that the only thing you might get out of your vote is some weird entertainment.
- Hey they’ve done that for awhile here down in Texas! Ken Paxton needs to stand trial for his crimes!
The problem here is that the Republican party is shrinking, and has been for years. So I'm skeptical that it's really "deadlocked," no matter how much the media wants a horse race. Trump's support among Republicans is rock-solid, but his presence has caused a lot of people to leave the Republican party. The people left are the most extreme, the most hateful.
But that doesn't necessarily mean they have equity in numbers with Democrats.
- They don't need equity in numbers though. They just need to win the electoral college once to tear the whole system down.

- People are leaving the Republican party in name, but 90% of them are still going to vote as conservatives (aka Republican), so really they're just letting the extremists control the primaries so the ones that "left" can pretend to be moderate while still voting for racists and indirectly supporting their hateful rhetoric.
  Source: look at the fucking idiots like Joe Manchin, Lisa Murkowski, Liz Cheney, and Susan Collins. They can claim to be moderate all they want, but at the end of the day, they vote however the Republican leadership tells them to.
I think it’d be much more lopsided if corporate news wasn’t such a disgusting insult to an informed populace. They still refuse to call him a liar, or note that he was found guilty of sexual assault. Much less point out that he used russian intelligence to violate the DNC and federal election law. Or that he obstructed justice by firing Comey, intimidated any number of witnesses, and oh yeah is utterly incompetent to handle that position.
Don’t you agree CNN? NBC? WaPo? NYT? Yeah. Her emails. Free airtime. We know how committed you are to reporting truth. Right Chuck Todd? Still both sides, isn’t it?
