Facts are anti-Semitic.
Facts don't care about my feelings, so facts should be illegal.
Ooh, a new cynical one-liner. I'm unironically excited about this.
Are we still going on about this? Yes, Israel is funding Hamas. They've been since the 90s.
Good. The whispers are so loud they barely even count as whispers.
I mean this is a known fact by now.
This is dumb. The evidence is clear. We know where everyone’s money is coming from and where it is ending up. This is stupid.
This is the best summary I could come up with:
“Hamas was financed by the Israeli government in an attempt to weaken the Palestinian Authority,” Borrell was quoted as saying by Spanish newspaper El País.
In his speech Friday, Borrell — who is in charge of EU foreign policy — also stressed that creating a Palestinian state is necessary in order to solve the ongoing conflict, according to the report.
Borrell’s comments came just days before EU foreign ministers are scheduled to hold several meetings with their counterparts from Israel, the Palestinian Authority and key Arab countries in Brussels.
The ministers are going to discuss on Monday the Israel-Hamas conflict in Gaza, where Israeli troops have been carrying out a relentless bombing campaign and ground assault for months, and the prospects for a future peace settlement.
On Thursday, the European Parliament adopted a resolution calling for a permanent cease-fire in Gaza — on the condition that Hamas be dismantled and all hostages released.
Borrell, who has been the EU’s foreign policy chief since 2019, has a long track record of undiplomatic moments, including when he compared Europe to a “garden” and called the rest of the world a “jungle,” and the time he tweeted out a sensitive extradition-related document from U.K. authorities

Islamic countries: Hamas is actually an Israeli puppet!
Rest of the world: So should we stop supporting hamas right? If Hamas surrenders Israel loses if that's true right?
Islamic countries: Nah, they're our guys and we'll back them to the hilt. They can never surrender no matter how many Palestinians die!
“The only solution is to create two states that share the land for which they have been dying for 100 years,” Borrell was quoted as saying. He added that such a solution must be “imposed from the outside.”
I disagree. I think the only solution is to take all their toys away and segregate the populations of both peoples. Like unruly children, they need to be put in time out.
Is in the populations or the leadership? I'm sure there's plenty of their populations that aren't psychotic despots or vicious terrorists.
Leadership and governments. I agree that there are civilians who are completely against the war. Many Israelis don't feel like they can speak out right now, because of the noisy ones foaming at the mouth.
Yes exactly. What I'm saying is that the Israeli state needs to be disbanded, the Palestinian state needs to be disbanded, and a neutral state needs to be set up in their place that only cautiously allows their citizen's return.
That would be the ideal solution, but actually making that happen is prohibitively complex.
This "solution" makes you sound as if you're just annoyed by hearing and reading about those dumb middle-eastern barbarians and want literally any solution that would get them out of your news feed, rather than actually wanting much good to those people.
Yeah the problem with the idea is how to make it work - especially when both groups hold religious significance to the area.
I think maybe some kind of relocation, but with passports that grant them permission to travel to the religious city of Jerusalem. The region itself must be carefully managed as a tourist destination for all nationalities and religions. Then over time people may be allowed to settle back there.

Quoting his own words? How very antisemitic of you.
