This should be a good way to restrict dodgy business practices
- Let's hope so, the EU has been on a good streak lately regarding consumer rights.
  
  Yeah the idea of only needing to purchase and carry one charging brick and USB-C cable for all devices I own is lovely.
  Only issue kind of is smart watches.
How is this going to impact quick battery swap arrangments?
- Sounds like the battery itself will have a QR code, so I imagine manufacturers of interchangeable packs will have to print the QR code on the battery pack itself.
